UC Davis Olive Oil has been in production for two years now. The product continues to garner awards at the major international and local olive oil competitions, and recognition as an effective and innovative grounds maintenance practice.
Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition Awards
The Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition (formerly the L.A. County Fair Olive Oils of the World Competition) is the nation's largest olive oil competition. In 2007 three hundred and ninety-six olive oils competed for medals, 118 were eliminated immediately for not meeting basic extra virgin quality standards. This year UC Davis Olive Oils won two silvers and a bronze. In addition to awards for flavor, "The Silo" olive oil won a bronze medal for its label design.

Yolo County Fair
With more than 60 entries, this fair hosts the largest olive oil competition focused exclusively on oils produced in California. This fair conducts a double-blind tasting with a panel of sensory experts.
